Engineering Dynamics Foam Void Former are a soft closed cell foam exhibiting high flexibility, low compressive strength and low tear resistance.
APPLICATION
Foam Void Former is primarily used for expansion, contraction and construction joints in concrete panelling, floating floor and pool structures.
The properties of Foam Void Former make it ideal for use as an acoustic seal between concrete panels or where minimal vibration transmission is required between vertical concrete panels.
This type of foam generally requires additional top sealing with Polyurethane or Flexible mastic type sealants, to prevent moisture ingress between foam and concrete.
