Description
Engineering Dynamics Slide Bearings are generally used under walkway bridge sections where one end is secured and the other is allowed to move due to thermal or structural movement.
The bearings are often installed onto corbels immediately adjacent to the structural requirement for support.
While bearings can be manufactured to suit longer sliding movement, the standard details provided below provide for +/-25mm movement in both directions and 0.014 – 0.025 Radians in rotational capacity.
All bearings are provided with either tapped holes or bolts to enable grouting.
All bearing are manufactured in Australia and provided Hot Dip Galvanised finish to AS4680.
